Cats with separation anxiety

My cat never leaves my side wherever i go in the house she follows. I’ve been glued inside my house for a while now so she’s been stuck with me but recently i’ve been going out and everytime i do although theres other people in the house she wails and cries. It makes me so sad that she acts this way. Is there anyway I could help her when I have to leave?
