Any other middle-aged adults cry during this season?
Just finished season 6 and I must say. There were several times throughout the series where I felt the show “jumped the shark” but in the end, for what the series is, the creators did a pretty good job wrapping this up.
Johnny getting that emotional release with Kreese and the flashbacks. Really resonated with me. Being so close to 40 myself, seeing how the show dealt with trauma that the adults were dealing with from being kids in the 80s was a great touch. And seeing Johnny redeem himself and become a family man. Just really made me realize, I’m not a kid watching Saturday cartoons anymore.
Series had a few flaws but overall I enjoyed the journey and the few tears I shed.
