What the heck is Beast supposed to be

What the heck is Beast supposed to be? I have never been this confused since SSJ Rage about a new transformation. I’ve been a hater with how Super’s handled most of their transformations like Blue, Rose, Rage, and Blue Evolved. They all kinda just show up outta nowhere, but at least you had some idea of how most of them related to the established forms. Like in Z SSJ2, 3 and the grades between were all variations and upgrades to the regular SSJ form. Blue is supposed to be the SSJ version of SSG somehow. Rose is Goku Blacks version of Blue and Blue evoked is well… Blue evolved. Idk wtf Beast is. Im worried this will start to be a trend of more random forms coming out of the blue. It feels like fanfic writing tbh.
