Shipments being denied by US Customs
I ordered an Air3S 3 days ago, and when I checked the tracking it said US customs denied it and sent it back to Hong Kong...
DHL said "Based on our records the U.S. Customs denied the access to your package. When packages are returned, a letter explaining the reason for return is attached to the box. The letter will explain why the package was returned; you will need to contact the shipper to confirm the reason. Once they receive the package, they will be able to provide more details regarding the return and any refunds you may be owed."
DJI said "U.S. Department of Defense put DJI on the CMC list, which prevented us from shipping bulk shipments to our U.S. warehouse, so we had to ship from our Hong Kong warehouse. With shipment done from Hong Kong, it will go through custom clearance process, where delivery process may take longer than expected. However, Yes there are packages being returned where we will be able to arrange reshipments."
Has anyone here experienced this? And if so, were you able to receive a drone on DJI's second delivery attempt?
Thanks!
Update!!!! I received an email from DHL telling me it the drone was sent back. So, i requested a refund from DJI.
