Question for American fans

I’ve watched Eurovision casually since I was young as I grew up in an immigrant family. In the last couple of years, I’ve gotten into it more, and I really enjoy following everything in the months leading up to the final. Have any of you fellow American fans had success in finding and befriending other fans? If so, how did you do it? Would love to have or join a watch party in my area. Forcing my boyfriend to watch with me isn’t cutting it anymore lol
