The Crimson moth, I dont know if I can continue. Help!
I have listened to 2/3 of the book and I liked it. It's cute and I liked Rune and Gideons characters. Im interested in how their relationship evolves since he has such a hate for witches and is full of trauma. But I realized about halfway that Verity was up to no good and that kinda ruined the story for me. It was when Rune asked her about the princesses using unconcented blood magic and she gave a manipulated answer siding with the princesses that I lost all interest.
I know that Verity turns out to be one of the princesses but that's it. I didn't like the small hints that reveals her, like the spellbook all of a sudden lays open in her secret casting room, or that she defended the princesses. It's too obvious!
Is it worth to power through? Will I witness many more of the all too obvious hints? I understand why Rune doesn't realize, but Im thinking more for the reader.
