Power Armor Glitch

Is anyone else having the issue (I am on PS5) where you place your armor, go to use any station in any location including camp, and the station glitches and makes it where you cannot fast travel or use the action button to use or do anything?

I have to join a new world every time it happens and as a new player, trying to make excavator armor for the first time was a migraine and a half constantly having to go to a new world.
