[EVERYTHING] Night's King theory
I'm pretty new to reddit so I wouldn't be surprised if this has been discussed before, but I'll throw it out there anyway. And for context, I'm just a show watcher but I love it so much that I always discuss theories with friends who've read the books, and have also read a few history blog posts on the background story from the books. So, I have some book knowledge but not a ton. My question is this... what are the chances that the Night's King was originally a Stark? Just a thought, obviously they are the most important house in the north and also incredibly important to the Night's Watch. So I'm thinking it's feasible that a Stark would have been north of the wall and captured by the children of the forest. I'm not sure what the Starks relationships was with the children of the forest, or their general sentiment towards them (do they even believe they are real? Or are they thought of as second class people like wildlings?), but assuming there was some tension there I'm thinking the children of the forest could have planned this thing out... I doubt they just shoved some dragon glass in someone's chest on a whim, so if they planned it out then who better to lead their defense than a zombie Stark?
