Any mobile games similar to afk journey but better?

I’m looking for strategy games where you just kinda place your characters on some tiles and they play mostly for you but you can use certain ultimates and such like afk journey. I would just keep playing journey but I feel like it’ll get pretty boring pretty quick with the rate it’s going. Is there anything that plays similarly to it? Preferably with a PvP focus or at least the inclusion of pvp. It makes me feel like I can keep playing the game for a long time, and I’d like it to be decently popular so that I know I won’t be one of the only ones on it.
