What’s everyone’s relationship like with alcohol?

So, as my title suggests I am curious of how well your body manages alcohol since being gluten free? I’ve been off gluten and dairy for about 6 months now and so far my gut and digestion issues have been way better.

Recently however, I’ve noticed when I consume more than say 3-4 drinks (usually gluten free beers but sometimes wine as well, I wake up with extreme gas and bloat as well as diarrhea that seems to linger for 1-3 days afterwards.

Does anyone else react similar to drinking gluten free beers? Are the beers to blame or is alcohol in general causing gut and digestion inflammation?

What has worked for you and what seems to make symptoms worse? I find this new profound reaction to be discomforting and would like to hear others experiences and opinions on the matter.
