Future job
I’m 17, took classes in electricity and welding in school and found that I had a knack for it and have always been working with my hands since I’ve grown up. Whether it be putting things together again, fixing stuff at the house, anything u can think of I’ve liked doing, but I’ve found myself stuck. I’m an exceptional welder, with o2 , and have found myself at the top of my class in both fields. I’m wondering if I Should go into welding or electricity from an economic standpoint. I like each equally and would want to pursue a future in them but have no one to talk to about it since everyone I know isn’t involved in the trades world. Im also at the top of my classes for regular school work and have averaged honors for the past 2 years. Would college be something I should look at too? Or should I go straight for trades. I know it’s a lot of questions but I would greatly appreciate if I could get some opinions or feed back. Thanks!
Edit: I’ve read all of the replies and have decided to go for the Union electrical route, thank you for all the help with my questions!! Ps if u have any connections in the bayonne to nj area with the union it would greatly help!, thanks😊
