Just started today, finished Chapter 5, and I’m already an emotional mess. This book is going to destroy me, isn’t it?

Ever since I started reading the Harry Potter series in November, I’ve been completely immersed in the wizarding world. The more I read, the stronger my emotions became for every character and moment. Last week, when I finished Half-Blood Prince, I was overwhelmed, Dumbledore’s death hit me so hard that I couldn’t stop crying.

Today, I finally started Deathly Hallows, and just five chapters in, I’ve already teared up multiple times. I was so lost in the book that I didn’t even notice my mom watching me until she asked, “Are you okay? Why are you crying?” Tears were literally falling down my face.

I know there’s so much more ahead, and I’m both terrified and excited for what’s coming.
