Constant cutouts with arc

I recently received a rx-a720 and have been using it with my Samsung - 75” Class DU6950 and it was working well for around a month but now I’m having problems. While watching anything the connections cuts in and out, it happens maybe 10 times every 5 minutes and it’s driving me crazy. I’ve done a hard reset on the receiver and it didn’t help, also when I first started using it I was using the pass-through option but now it’s completely greyed out and I can’t do anything about it. The hdmi cord is going directly from the tv to the receiver and I’m on audio 1. There are no forums or reddit posts about having this problem either. I’ve tried 4 different hdmi cords but each have the same cut out problems. when working it shows all of the active speakers on the little screen but now it shows nothing

Update after resetting my receiver once again and putting it back to its original settings like the day I got it, it won’t work at all, I only get sound for maybe 2 seconds in 2 minutes, doesn’t seem like it wants to work at all now
