Complaint on Consumer Helpline worked
Recap: My bike was having multiple issues and TVS service center did nothing. So I filed a complaint online on Consumer Helpline
Got called by TVS dealer. This time it was the owner and he requested me to tell him all the issues faced by me. I told him everything and also showed him repeated calls, texts and emails.
He told me that all issues will be fixed and gave me a paper to sign for the same. I have not signed it and told him, I will consider signing it once the issues are all resolved.
Bike is in workshop now. Will update soon.
UPDATE: Most of the issues were solved but there are still some pending. The Manger was more focused on getting me to sign the papers than he was about fixing the issues.
The technician were ignoring him when he called which was really strange. My guess is that TVS lacks enough manpower and so they have no choice to tolerate these lousy mechanics.
Even after the complaint I had to explain the issues 5 times to 5 different guys. They gave me no update till I went to pick up my bike.
I did not want to spend anymore time there and major issues were resolved so I left.
I recommend everyone to file complaint on consumer helpline if facing any of these problems. But first email, the service center and the TVS support. Once they reply and no resolution is given for 2 weeks then file the complaint and add pdfs of the email chain.
Do not sign any documents the service center gives till all the work is done. Read the document carefully and make sure they have not added anything wrong or suspicious.
In my case the document they gave mentioned replacement of parts for free but no replacement was done so I had that removed.
