Booked My First Bike - Duke 250
So, I just booked my first bike—Duke 250 in the ebony black and I’m so excited! The on-road price here in Pune was ₹2,66,807. The experience at the KTM dealership was actually pretty smooth, and while they didn’t budge on the price, they did throw in some freebies like a helmet (standard), a pair of gloves, a bike cover, and some coating that’s supposed to prevent dust and minor scratches. Not bad, right?
One thing that kinda bugged me, that when I first enquired about the bike, they told me this color was a "limited edition" and would be discontinued by Jan 2025. Now, they’re saying it’s going to continue. Doesn’t change anything for me, but still, it felt a bit like a sales tactic.
Anyway, I’m curious—are those freebies standard or just them trying to sweeten the deal? Also, if any of you have tips for a first-time Duke owner, I’d be happy to hear them.
Can’t wait to hit the roads with this beauty!
