Cost Reduction Program $$$

I wanted to give everyone a heads up: I was able to get 75% off my fees for this shitty device. When i initially called the DMV for instructions about installing- the dude in charge of interlock devices informed me about a program for people who cant/have financial burdens. He told me to contact the DMV and request a hearing for cost reduction.

Yesterday I met with a judge who ruled I deserved reduced fees. He also told me i was able to obtain retroactive costs. I dont believe it includes the installation fee from your auto body shop, but for everything else. It was a smooth situation, and I sat 1:1 with a judge alone in an office. I have to pay $60 every other week for the device ($120 a month). I now only have to pay $30 a month. Its a huge relief. I want all of us who experience the burdon of our mistakes to receive some sort of support with this extremely expensive ripoff machine.
