Is contacting support a bad idea?

Is there any evidence that contacting support to inquire about projects might have negative consequences? For instance, could it result in removal or downgrading from a project? Additionally, if a qualification still appears in the console, does that confirm I’m still being considered for the project? As a reference, in the course of a week i sent probably three emails to find out if SW would be coming back for me, all with zero response and it still isn't back. Thank you!!
