Any advice on managing multiple Operating Systems on one computer?

A couple days ago I decided to try endeavor OS with i3 to try out a window manager (which I am enjoying a lot). I had a free 250gb SSD so I just installed it onto that, took no time at all, super clean.

Problem was I accidentally deleted my windows boot manager which was on that SSD for some reason (my fault) so I couldn't get dual boot working with my windows and Ubuntu. I then spent HOURS trying to fix it.

Ended up:

  • Reinstalling Windows 10 (It wasn't showing up in grub)
  • Hopping back and forth between Endeavour and Ubuntu to try configuring grub
  • Accidentally deleting my boot partition for Endeavour (lol, had to chroot to fix that)
  • Failing to Reinstall Windows 10 again (It failed this time from the usb installation)
  • Failing to Install Windows 11 (it failed as well)
  • Found out that it was because I had too many damn drives plugged in (2 m.2, 1 hard drive, 1 SSD)

I was then finally able to get all three operating systems to show up in grub after a whole day (Ubuntu is still messed up, takes a whole minute to boot).

Enough of the rant, are there any good ways to manage a bunch of operating systems on one PC?
