Love/hate relationship with my new MacBook Air 13,3 M2... what should I do?

Hey! Last year I switched from android to iPhone and after a week I was sure I am never going back. A month ago my old windows laptop broke and I got an opportunity to buy myself a new one, so I decided I am going to go for a MacBook as well. I mostly use laptop for reading, writing and internet browsing, so MacBook Air M2 seemed like a perfect choice for me. From time to time I will play some undemanding games and while doing a research before purchasing I found out Mac would have no problem in running them.

So far I really love the screen and audio quality, how easily I can customise the MacBook and how smoothly it runs. Another thing is writing, MacBook suggests words on its own, and since I am a professional writer it is really helpful. As I said I mostly use my laptop for basic browsing, so this part is really satisfying for me.

However yesterday I tried to play some games, and my disappointment has really kicked in. Most of the games I thought would be available in App Store just aren't there .... for example Genshin Impact, which I really enjoyed playing on my old windows laptop. I know that there is a way to get it installed, but after paying so much for a laptop I really don't feel like going through the whole trouble. I also tried playing the sims 4, but MacBook is getting so loud that there is no way for me to enjoy the game.

Now I really don't know what to do. As I said, 95% of the time I use my MacBook for basic things, and I am really happy with its performance- this is something I have never experienced on windows. On the other hand I feel bitter that I am not able to run basic games. I was planning on buying an iPad this month, which from what I saw has a wider range of games to choose from in the App Store. I know that I would have a good use of that also at work, but at the same time currently I am thinking whether I should get another gaming laptop just for the games I want to play. I really don't know what to do because as much as I love iPhone, MacBook doesn't seem to be all I expected.
