Smoke screen achievement

I had 3 games where I got 3 kills with the smoke active and I shot through the smoke but the achievement didn't pop at the end of the game do I need to be inside the smoke or damage the enemy team low enough and then throw it at them and it kills them🤔

Update: Finally, I got it and I think I know why it didn't pop up even after you got the 3 kills through the smoke I think it has something to do with the conquest mode because all my attempts were in that mode I even tried to boost it with people on a boosting session still wouldn't pop up at the end of the game, then today I switch to a quick match alone this time and then it finally popped after I got the 3 kills with the shotgun shooting through the smoke so I think the best way to do it is play on quick match and use the shotgun lower the enemy health bar low enough then use the smoke ability then finish off the enemy while shooting through the smoke with the shotgun (hope I helped with what I can offer)
