Airbrush help

I recently started airbrushing and I have encountered an issue. I have sprayed the main layer of paint on and after a while some slits appeared, exposing the primer. I am using Vallejo paints. Is this an issue with the paint or something else I don't know about? Any help would be greatly appreciated
