Prisoners (2013) - 2 details that I haven't seen anyone talk about

1/ The Priest's "prisons":

- The first one is his basement, in which the real abductor (auntie's husband) is its prisoner until his last moment. The abductor was tied up, dead for a while and confessed his crimes to the priest beforehand so it is obvious that the priest took matter into his own hands. Which I find funny because the anti-Christ abductor came there that day definitely not to confess, but to mock on God (he bragged about killing children), only to met his end by a God's man.

- The second one is the abductor, or the act of killing him imprisons the priest. That's why he passed out, drowning in alcohol while a corpse remains in the basement, he was in denial, trapped in guilt and probably just want to drink it all away.

2/ The way Alex treat his dog. This one just bugged me because I strongly believe it is a scene deliberately putting there to mislead audience, to trick us into thinking he is a psychopath. On second watch, knowing who he really was, it just felt way out of character. The kid song was enough reason for Keller anyway.
