Shrines

New to the community, been collecting since 2013, but don't often have time to play, never played at my LGS, only casual games here and there. Recently divorced and now have all the free time I could want.

Building a Shrine commander deck and looking for recommendations for cards to go along with shrines.

Two thoughts I had was 1) doing shrines and gates. For the multicolor lands and gates in general.

And 2nd) using starfield of nyx, opalescenct, ect, to turn the non-creature shrines into creatues, then using helm of the host to make tokens, along with doubling season and etc. While also giving enchantments/creatures i control hexproof, indestructible, etc.

Go-shintai of life's origin would by my commander unless yall have a better suggestion.
