Make it make sense

What do guys actually look for ? I have several instances that I would like clarity on. 1. There's this guy we were friends around 2017 huko, he later settled down and got a kid, he now has a baby mama and they are separated. We started talking again, he reached out and I was like heh,,,, this one wants more than a friendship. My assumption is he's just lonely and needs someone by his side but I can't be with him , the worst part is he keeps saying how he made a mistake ,,,what mistake? I mean by the time he was settling down I believe he knew what he wanted now there's a kid involved how's that a mistake ??? Yoh 🙆😂😂

1. This other one almost made me go mad at some point 😅. I rarely open up my heart, what I mean is this, I don't just date anyone.Before I do I have opened up and I genuinely like or love the person I'm getting involved with. I don't like situationships or meaningless connections. With that said , I met someone and we started talking then the dates followed. I was genuinely enjoying the time we were spending together. Kidogo kidogo communication became less and less , he actually ghosted me 😂😂 after like a month I see him posting someone else. This was really painful. From the get go I was like if you feel this won't go anywhere just communicate, I mean we are grown-ups we know what we want and it's ok if the feelings change along the way. I was so clear on that. What I never got to understand is why he didn't communicate or at least bring it up 🫠 I don't know, 😅 I came to terms with it and that was done.
