Thoughts on Caleb and Aidan. Name suggestions welcome!
Hello everyone. We're expecting our first child (boy) later this year and I just wanna hear your honest thoughts about the name we're considering: Caleb Aidan
We're thinking Caleb for his first name because my husband likes it. I didn't like it at first because I already know someone else who has a boy named Caleb, but the name is growing on me and I like that hubby has decided on this name even before I got pregnant.
We wanted a name that starts with either a C or a B which are our initials, but we're open to breaking this rule too if we find the right name.
For a second name, I was thinking Aidan/Aiden. I like that it means "little fire" and it seems perfect for a baby born in the year of the dragon. However, I've read some posts here saying Aidan(and its variations) is waaay overused and kids who have this name are all problematic or have ADHD 🤣
We're from the Philippines and I've literally never met or heard of an Aidan here so I'm not too worried about it being too popular.
I do have qualms about the negative behaviors that seem to be associated with the name. I know it doesn't have any scientific basis, but I know Kyles and Chads that are literally the stereotypes of their names. 😅
Other second name ideas I liked are: - Nicolas (hubby's second name) - Bastien ( he didn't like this one though) - Lucian ( he didn't like this one either) - Rhys (means enthusiastic, fiery) - Bennett (he said this was a surename) - Elio (from Helios, meaning Sun)
Looking for more names that could be(but not obviously) related to fire or dragon. Don't wanna name my kid Draco or Drogon or something.
If you read this far, thank you so much! Looking forward to your honest and respectful opinions. 😊
