Las Piñas City Rep. Camille Villar emphasized the need for infrastructure development and affordable housing to support San Jose del Monte City's expansion during a press conference of Alyansa Para sa Bagong Pilipinas senatorial candidates on Friday, February 28.
Villar cited the Metro Rail Transit 7 (MRT-7) as a crucial project that would enhance interconnectivity, boost productivity, and create jobs in the city.
She also stressed the importance of accessible housing to accommodate the growing population.
"Dito rin makikita natin sana magkaroon ng murang pabahay at better homes for all of the, sa mga kababayan natin dito sa San Jose," she said.
The event, held in San Jose del Monte, Bulacan, tackled key issues such as healthcare, budget allocation, and governance as part of the candidates' agenda.
