Why does it seem everyone is hating on the starters for Legends Z-A?

I started playing in gen 5 so I wanted one rep but I genuinely wouldn’t have cared what any of the starters were. Every single social media I go to people are absolutely crapping all over the starter choice but I think it was good to (potentially) give these starters mega to fix the flaws especially with chicorita and tepig.
