Today in Adolescence: Pull like my life depends on in and definitely will not settle

I wish I would tell him that the smells won't go away if he doesn't investigate right this minute, that he'll feel better if he takes a nap, and that the people shoveling snow outside on the walkway / people walking in front of our house / people walking near our back patio to go into their homes are not threats that he needs to alert me too.
