Considering CIOB Experienced Practitioner Pathway

Hi, I'm a 27 year old QS with over 6 years experience in the role, having worked at a consultancy for my first 3 years and with main contractors for the 3 years since. I intend not to return to consulting.
I've just completed a HNC in Quantity Surveying and achieved a distinction, following which I've been offered to enter a degree at the second year.
The thought of doing another 3 years of part-time study at degree level isn't very appealing at the moment but I am interested in doing the CIOB Experienced Practitioner Pathway which supposedly gets me to a similar level in a fraction of the time.
Has anybody on here done this and would they recommend it?
