Take a bow, lads!
The show at the Riviera in Chicago last night was so exceptional! I hope those of you that were there had as much fun as I did!
On that note, I met a few fellow fans that made the evening a little more perfect:
I was next to an older woman who had a momentary collapse and eventually needed to be escorted away/tended to. Everyone around us immediately made sure she was OK, so kudos to all and I hope she's feeling great now!
I met a cool cat in the line outside named Greg who had a cool son whose name I can't recall. Anyway, I lost contact with them as soon as the doors opened, but I hope they know I enjoyed our conversation in the cold!
I met a young woman in the merch line and subsequently ran into her at the Wilson red line station. Had a swell chat on the train about the show and other odds and ends, and I darted away at the last second when I realized we were at my stop. Never got her name or anything, but thanks for a really pleasant end to the evening. I'll keep my eyes peeled for rising stars in the world of biology.
:)
