Good affordable apartments in the west end/short pump area?

I currently live about 10 minutes east of short pump and my apartment is $1100 a month and is definitely not worth it. My lease is up in June and I’m trying to find somewhere around the same price (no more than $1150) for a one bedroom. Does anyone have any apartments around here they would recommend? It seems like all of them are either way too expensive or have roaches. Near Virginia Center Commons is also an option and I may be open to chesterfield, but nothing in the city.
