Internal QBRs - How Long?
Our internal QBRs include the enterprise sales team based at our office as well as our marketing counterparts. Each person is required to give their own presentation. We have about 12 presentations to sit through per QBR and it generally runs from 9 or 10 am until 5:30 or 6 pm with a short lunch and one or two 5 minute breaks.
Is this normal in tech sales? I had many years of sales experience before coming to this company, but the other industries I’ve done sales in were outside the tech sector, so tell me: are our QBRs are standard, outlandish, or somewhere in between?
ETA: To clarify, these are done the first week of every quarter.
