The Board - spoilers

Has anyone else noticed that Mr. Drummond never appears in the same room as the board? I don't mean he doesn't appear with Natalie, but that when he does appear with Natalie she's never wearing the headset and never has the speaker block thing. When iMark tells the box that he wants his team back, they play recording and Mr. Drummond says, "The board is going to give him what he wants, including Helly R." It's possible he's just assuming that's the case, but what if he's part of the Board, or has even more access to the Board than Natalie does?
