Fields said that they started calling each other Attila 20 year ago and when they called each other that in front of Burt’s Lumon partner it startled him. Burt tried to make it seem like Fields was drunk or suffering from dementia, because the severance procedure didn’t start until 12 years ago. But what if outtie Burt was a Lumon company man for much longer than he was severed.
And what if Burt lured Irving to his house so that Mr Drummond could sneak in and ransack Irving’s Lumon investigation chest.
Hmm, but maybe Irving already knows more about Burt than he’s letting on since his outtie self already had him on a list of Lumon employees… Curiouser and curiouser.
