Have you encountered the helpful HDB lift ghost?

As far as I know, HDB lifts have no exterior sensors for when someone approaches, but on multiple occasions at my block, whenever I come home late around or after midnight usually alone, the lift at my block will remain closed as I approach and conveniently opens just as I step in front of it, as if it is welcoming me.

it's different than the doors opening when it arrives at a level. I can see the lift idling as I approach from a far. It doesn't happen everytime but it happens enough and specific only as I step in front of the lift doors for it to be coincidental.

Have you experienced this at your lifts as well?
