Predicting order of character deaths in S3 (and the story)
Game 4 -> Player 44 (Shaman), Player 007 (Yong-sik), Player 120 (Hyun-ju), Player 124 (Nam-gyu), Player 125 (Min-su) dies
Also, Junhee tries to gives birth to her child but fails between game 4 and game 5.
I think the Shaman's prediction that 007/120/149 dying will eventually come true, but I think the shaman herself will die before the prophecy actually happens.
007 Yong-sik will probably die protecting his mom, because his Instagram shows he went on vacation with his family mid-February - it's extremely uncommon for actors to leave the country while they are doing a project, so I am guessing he only survives till earlier in S3.
As for 120 I think she kind of showed everything she could show in this series over S2, and I unfortunately don't think she has much left to do in S3 aside from staging another rebellion. Also Park Sung-hoon filmed S3 and Queen of Tears at the same time, so lots of scheduling conflict probably means he has less to do in S3 - so I think Hyunju dies quite early on.
As for 149 (grandma) her son Yong-sik dying leaves her devastated (duh) - and right when she decides she has nothing to live for and decides to kills herself with the knife, she realizes Junhee is nearing childbirth - so she uses the same knife - one she tried to take her own life with - to help Junhee give birth to a new life. It simply fits perfectly.
However, I think Junhee's birth will fail.
This will likely have a chain effect on a lot of characters - first, Frontman gets PTSD because it's his past repeating itself, and second, 333 (MG coin) is also devastated and I think this could trigger his villain arc - blaming the O's as well as Gihun for letting the games continue + staging a rebellion that killed off all the X's and start trying to kill them.
Game 5 -> Player 100 (Jeongdae), Player 149 (Grandma), Player 222 (Junhee) dies
I think 149 - given that her son died and that the childbirth failed - I think the stress and self-blame will ultimately push her to just give up surviving the games.
Yim Si-wan, MG coin's actor, stated two things in an interview - 1) killing Thanos will be a turning point for him and 2) Myung-gi eventually makes a very dumb decision in S3.
Here's how I think it will play out - based on 1, I think he will just start murder spree/killing the O's left and right in order to win the votes. I think he will kill player 100 here, which will make the audiences cheer for him - but right as Myunggi as well as us audiences are too locked in on killing O's - and while he's distracted, I think one of the O's will kill Junhee as a reaction to MG coin's murder spree.
Then the game ends, and while MG coin survived, the tension between O's and X's are extremely bad. I even think some of the X's might be afraid of the O's and switch vote to O in the vote between 5 and 6 so that the games continue.
Game 6 + Rebellion -> Frontman, No-eul (011) and Player 333 (Myung-gi) dies
Meanwhile, soldier 11 (No-eul) is the one who shot 246 (Gyeong-seok, The Dad) at the end of S2. She takes her to the organ harvesting lab with another guard, and kills the other guard and makes the Dad put on the pink soldier armor. She then calls the captain of the ship and makes him come to get up the organs. As seen from episode 7 - the captain sucks at improvising - and tells Junho + his crew that he just has somewhere to go. Junho and his crew follows him to the island and finds No-eul. While the soldiers stay at the ship to protect Gyeong-seok, I think the Dad and Junho will switch the pink soldier costumes, and No-eul and Junho, disguised as pink soldiers, will sneak into the players' barracks and tell Gihun to stage the coup.
I think right as game 6 starts, the remaining players along with Noeul, Junho, and the mercenaries will start a second rebellion - however, this rebellion is a bit different. Whereas the first time they tried to go after the control room, this time Junho and mercenaries will head towards the control room while Gihun and Noeul is in charge of making as many players escape the island before they set off the explosives to blow up the island itself.
So the rebellion happens - mercenaries and pink soldiers exchange gunfight, and the pink soldiers are severely outgunned this time due to them losing a lot of firepower and men in first rebellion + Hyunju shooting away all the security cameras in S2.
Junho - in the middle of all this - dresses up as a pink soldier and heads to the control room. Front man is there, and Junho takes his mask off to show his face to his brother. As a reverse of Season 1 - Junho tells Frontman to come with me, since the island is going to blow up and everyone will die. Frontman points a gun towards Junho, and as Junho decides that his brother is a monster who will kill him, Frontman turns the gun to himself and kills himself in front of his own brother. While he dies he says sth like tell mom i said hi or something idk.
Junho, devastated by his brother's loss, drags his brother's body out and escapes with Gihun, a few other players, and the mercenaries. Given the setup with all the pink soldiers being kids, I think they could even try to convince some of the pink soldiers to escape with them. The island explodes, and the characters make their way back home. While all the players leave the island empty-handed, Gi-hun, upon returning, is finally able to distribute his prize money from S1 game to the remaining players and other survivors of the game.
Gihun makes his way to the United States through Incheon airport, and as soon as he arrives to JFK, he hears a sound of ddakji hitting the ground across a semi-transparent door. It is a silhouette of a recruiter. As he makes his way towards the door, he is quickly grabbed by his daughter. While feeling uneased, Gihun joins his daughter as Season 3 ends.
