When they don't tip enough...
I work at a higher end club. I sat with a guy for several hours. He asked one of the hostesses for an entertainer to keep him company. She thought I'd get along with him because I'm smart and good at conversation.
I sat with him for so long because the hostess recommended me (meaning she's trying to put me on money). I expected between 300 and 600 for the length of time I spent with him.
He tipped me 100. He had more cash. I wanted to say "Please give me more" or "may I have more?" But instead said "thank you" and accepted it. (After our shift, the hostess was really sorry that he tipped me so little, she thought he'd be more generous)
Another time, I did a VIP room and the guy was a pain in the ass. I wanted a fat tip to compensate for his shit. Dude tipped me 6 dollars on a 600 dollar room. I want to ask for a bigger tip, but don't.
If someone tips you less than you want, do you ask for more? How would you go about asking?
Or maybe, am I unreasonable for wanting more? Is it a massive faux pas to ask for bigger tips?
