Emails and pics wiped from my acct

Firs problem: two of my sent e-mails disappeared from my gmail acct. how is that possible?! I checked everywhere, sent folder, etc. . I haven’t checked all my sent emails, can’t remember all of them but these were important.

Second problem: pictures I took within an app on my phone have also disappeared, about 50 of them. Poof! gone within 15 mins of taking them. Tech support cannot find them.

Emails were sent from my laptop but the pic were taken using my phone.
