Remake series' that overshadowed the original

I don't know how many of these I can really think of - maybe The Office US to The Office UK but since The Office UK is still pretty well-liked/known I don't know if it's a clear example. I'm sure there are loads but I'm struggling to think- Poldark came to mind too but I don't know much about either version
