Why does no one use this?

I've played for roughly a week now and I haven't seen anyone use the Pike. Is it a bad gun? Do people just not like it? I want to get more guns for my medium, honestly been using mainly the AKM (lowkey love that gun), but idk what i should run. People mentioned the FCAR but honestly not a fan. Anyway, why dont people use the Pike? Should I buy it?
