Synchronize saved lots in gallery

I recently got a new laptop and I thought if I download the Sims and log in with the same EA account I will have the saved lots and rooms on my new laptop. The EA ID is the same of course, but the lots won't appear. I didn't use any cc in said builds and I have all the same DLCs downloaded. Is there a way to synchronize them or should I try other alternatives? I also thought about uploading them to the gallery and getting them from there or copying the save file to the new laptop, but it's a bit weird that I can't see them in the gallery already...
