Vegans Who Hate Animals What's Going On With These Posts?

I keep seeing posts where people say, "I'm vegan, but I don't like or even hate animals" or "I don't care about animals at all." Are these just omnivores or carnivores trolling, or is this a real perspective? I’m vegan because I love animals, so I struggle to understand how someone could make the moral decision to avoid consuming animals and not hurting them, while disliking them. Sorry if I’m being naive, but this genuinely confuses me.
