Writing Assessment Webcam Selection

Anyone else have any luck trying to force the website to not use an integrated webcam? I have my laptop attached to a monitor so the integrated camera on it is at an awkward angle and you only ever see half of my face. I've been trying different browsers, camera settings etc trying to force it to use my normal usb webcam but I can't seem to make it work.

Am I out of luck and just have to use the integrated webcam even though it's at an off-angle? Would this negatively affect my assessment?
