Switched from S23U to the S25U. Here's what I noticed fr.
(IM ALREADY SAYING THIS IN ADVANCE. IF ANYONE WHO WANTS TO UPGRADE GO FOR IT NO ONES STOPPING YOU TO DO SO.)
I'm a normal user who's just a tech enthusiast and not a pro user.
so for those who think they should upgrade from s23u here's what I found/discovered while using this phone.
I ALWAYS notice the weight difference when picking up this phone. It's way too light compared to s23u. In terms of handling the FLAT SIDES is sharper compared to older devices.
Cameras are great or the same except 10x ofc and I believe S23u cameras were degraded purposely and are more capable. (I dont use Ultra wide a lot tho so i dunno the diff of that.)
It's way too smooth, mostly because of OneUI 7 tho. The opening and closing of apps is fluid and there's not alot of difference in launching speeds.
In gaming I mostly play ZenlessZone in lowest graphics 60fps. On s23u it heated alot and was painful to hold while frames dropped too. while on s25u fps is constant and it doesn't burn your hands.
The display looks the same to me except I love the AOD with wallpaper feature and those thin bezels look gorgeous.
The Bbackup. In 6 days I believe it hasn't optimized for me and my s23u was 2 years old so on S23U I used to get 7 hrs max on fhd 120hz.
(((On s25u qhd 120hz I easily get 7hrs+ BUT. S23U used to perform the same when it was new.)))
The downgrade of SPEN. Yes im not lying but I really used the SPEN and it's air gestures for taking pictures and doomscrolling in Insta😂
The speakers are INCREDIBLE compared to older ultras. There's literally no diff in bass even when you increase the volume to max.
AND. There's alot left to discover like the AI features the included Gemini etc.
If anyone has any questions feel free to ask.
