Warcry Explosion Poison Ancestral Commander

So i cooked a bit and got my starter build.

The core concept is:

  • automate General's Cry with a very low cd
  • use a high lvl/quality gmp Unearth for quick corpses
  • ???
  • Boom

Since you can play this only after cruel lab you lvl up with sunder and a 2h up to that point.

Some Uniques i want or need to make this work:

  • Cospri's will for guaranteed poison. Blasphemy helps and later on Curse on Hit. Most mobs shouldn't even need to be poisoned in the first place.
  • Koam's Command for extra corpse pop dmg. If it stacks which it should.
  • Obliteration as the best and cheapest weapon. Extra pops and scales the explosion greatly.
  • witchfire is just QoL mapping flask
  • Mings heart is optional, but insane for it.
  • Elegant Hubris of Caspiro to deal with the huge Attribute Requirements AND to slap every attribute note with a tattoo
  • Balance of Terror with Despair Wither let's you remove the withertotem for bosses, huge QoL. Bonus 2nd mod for curse immunity.
  • Dragonfangs Flight is on par with Ashes of the Stars. one has nice quality, the other reservation stuff.

Since the Unique Attributes are very high i would specc 80 Dex and 80 int on the skilltree at the start and remove it over time.

In terms of gems there is a lot of flexibility and i toy around with whatever feels the best in the end:

  • Unearth + Gmp + lifetap is the core, Empower and Enhance are the icing on the cake. Life leech, cull or faster casting/echo are another option.
  • autoexertion + general's cry to trigger corpses and to keep the manacost low.
  • flamedash is the movementskill of choice, can add shieldcharge later on top. Blasphemy temp chains basically only with solstice vigil. Selfcast or arcanist brand for bosses.
  • Withertotem w/o Balance of terro.
  • Malevolence + a herald or purity and/OR Ash. Ash is nice for clear, purity for singletarget. Would just swap them depending on the content. T17 + bossing HoP, the rest HoA.
  • cwdt vaal molten shell with duration is nice to have extra ehp on demand and automatically. Despair is in there if the witchfire brew runs out and for balance of terror later on.
  • Defiance Banner is optional, decent for bosses and circle encounter like Ritual.
  • Plaque Bearer for mapping, fewer unearth casts needed. Optional.

The passive tree is pretty flexible. Can cut all the block and go dual obliteration. Remove or add cluster jewels and so on.

Corpsewalker might be another qol swap in for mapclear.

Tattoos are flexible, i would want CDR for warcrys, but phys dmg and resists are fine as well.

Thats basically it. The core is very cheap and ofc for rare items, corruptions and so on you can pay as much as you want.

Pob and text updated (patchnotes):

  • Switched elegant hubris slot for 2 extra tattoos.
  • added Warcry Cluster and Megalomaniac for Warniong call, Lead by excample and Mob mentality. 3 out of 5 nodes. the remaining megalomaniac nodes can be anything beneficial. Just slapped life in it.
  • changed the whole gemsetup
  • fixed cospris will corruption
  • added a dual corruption obliteration with unholy might on kill (not selected in my PoB). It is not that useful in many bossfights if you cannot kill anything for the buff.
  • added temporal chains corruption on hands of the high templar gloves.
  • added Replica Dragonfang´s Flight
  • Optional Flesh and Flame added for unrelenting (jugg Endurance charge scaling). Good for defence, worse for dmg than regular jewels.
  • added The Light of Meaning
  • removed Stormshroud, added shock effect pantheon and a mod on a flask for shock effect.
  • settled on Ancestral Defiance as the 4th node.
