How many once a year clients do you have?
And do you check in with them during the year? I’m talking about the clients where you really only work with them annually when tax time rolls around. Sometimes I worry I’m not providing enough value or being proactive enough for my clients, especially those with small businesses. However, they’re only paying me for tax prep and only reached out to me about that service.
I’m wondering if I should send out a to my existing clients so I can see whether some of them would like more hands on services during the year. Then I could talk with them about their needs and pricing for added work. Has anyone ever done this to check in with their annual clients?
