Apparently you can love animals and still eat them 🙄

A friend posted that she's a meat-eating environmentalist. I told her it's kind of an oxymoron and she came up with various unoriginal carnist arguments. Then I told her it's funny how carnists would say and do anything to save the animals except stop eating them and she says it's totally possible to love animals and eat them. I just gave up at this point. I guess I came here to rant but any counter arguments you have for this would be helpful also.
