Hi Einat. I think you’re one of the best voices in the topic of Israel’s modern history and politics. My question is a historical question; what is your understanding of what happened between PM Shamir and King Hussein of Jordan? I have heard that Shimon Peres had a whole agreement with Hussein to create some sort of Palestinian “state” within Jordan’s borders but Shamir broke off from Peres’ deal, much to the chagrin of King Hussein who said they would never deal again with Israel in regards to the Palestinians. What is your perspective on this? Is it even true?

My response is not "who" but "what" - Gaza should be governed by anyone who does not subscribe to Palestinianism. Anything else should not be legitimized. Otherwise it will be more war and more suffering. I discuss this vision a bit here:
