Wow this is unreal. I'd join the "Passenger Rights" group on Facebook and ask Gabor Lucas how to get compensation, and then never fly with them again (which I know is so hard because we only really have 2 carrier options in Canada)

I’m so sorry this happened to you! Any chance you could talk to your doctor to have anxiety meds just as a backup for flights? I only use mine when traveling most of the time and they do help. So sorry and sending love.

Thank you for the love, it's been recieved. The funny thing is, I took .5 of an Ativan maybe 10 mins prior. I hadn't felt like i needed it on the previous flight. Apparently, it didn't work? Or perhaps I should have taken it earlier. When I came to after fainting, I was soooo out of it for the next few hours. It still kind of all feels like a bad dream.

i am so so sorry. you deserve nothing but support for your decision to get off of the plane, especially after fainting. their wording could’ve been nicer, but understandably they needed to get the information across. that passenger however was incredibly rude and shouldn’t have said anything. i went through a very similar situation and have to fly friday. i will report back with how it goes and any tips i have to work through this :)

Did you also faint? I'm so sorry. Please do keep me updated, I have a feeling you are going to nail it! Distraction has always been something that has worked well for me (noise canceling headphones, eye mask, eculyptus etc).
