I know I'm going to be super downvoted for this opinion, but I don't think Emily ruined Belle. I think the writers' stubbornness in keeping Rumple on the show and making Belle his forgiving submissive ruined Belle.

I don't know why, but the more Malachi material I find, the more I wish he could have been part of Descendants. I just think he fits into this universe, man. He could have been Red's perfect brother. Or Bridget's original son in D4 before the past was changed and Red came in D5 (instead of Pink).

The plot and the whole concept of the Founding Families was my favorite concept in S1&2 (similar to the Factions in TO). I would have loved to see at least one member of each family still alive during the series finale. I get why (for ex.) Michael asked for Tyler to be killed, tho.
